Misticismo Visivo is the visual research project of Riccardo Casinelli, a Rome-based graphic designer. His work explores the concept of signs and the perception of forms, symbols, and colours—examining how they interact and generate meaning.

He is the co-founder and lead designer of Mistaker, an independent graphic design studio specialising in visual design, infographics, and motion graphics, which he runs alongside Martina Tariciotti. Previously, he worked as data designer for La Repubblica and L’Espresso, and he taught infographics and applied semiotics at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin.

In 2020, he started to work on ROMBO™ (●_●), an ongoing research project focused on monsters and visual perception.
